5th Grade: Gioacchino Rossini (1792-1868)
Rossini's Ghost is the magical story or Reliana, a little girl who is transported back in time to meet Gioacchino Antonio Rossini, one of the most successful opera composers of the 19th century. Rossini is at the point of giving up his music after the failure of his latest opera, "The Barber of Seville."
4th Grade: Johann Sebastian Bach (1685-1750)
A young boy helps the rebellious Johann Sebastian Bach fight for his artistic freedom.
3rd Grade: George Frideric Handel (1685-1759)
A Dublin street kid is selected as a choirboy for Handel's first performance of The Messiah. His friendship helps deliver the composer from a temporary lack of self esteem and restores his great glory.
Young Christoph is convinced his mother has rented out the upstairs room to a madman. That boarder is Ludwig Van Beethoven who is busy composing his Ninth Symphony, one of his greatest works. The boy and the cantankerously eccentric deaf composer eventually meet and Christoph begins to see the softer side of Beethoven as his music begins to win the boy over.
